Background
Akshin Bagirov graduated from the Azerbaijan State Medical Institute in 1976 and built his career in trauma-orthopedics across Baku and Moscow, serving as Deputy Director of a Baku trauma institute (1995–1998) and head of traumatology at the Presidential Administration hospital (1998–2009). He became a key surgeon at Clinic #1 in Moscow's Lyublino district while concurrently serving as a leading research fellow at the Priorov NMRC — Russia's foremost orthopedic research institution. He is recognized as one of the few surgeons in Moscow performing cosmetic height-increase and leg-correction procedures. He has 58 publications, 7 patents, and presented at the BRICS medical conference in December 2024.
