Background
Dr. Michael Uglow qualified from St George's Hospital Medical School, London in 1989 and trained in the UK and Australia. He was Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Portsmouth and then lead clinician for Children's Orthopaedic Surgery at University Hospital Southampton, before relocating to Abu Dhabi in 2017 as Head of Orthopaedics at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City. In January 2023 he co-founded the Paley Middle East Clinic with Professor Dror Paley, where he is full-time Director and lead consultant. He has 33 years of orthopaedic experience and 25+ peer-reviewed publications.
